Who bring me there, who made me to drive 5 hours from Chicago in winter time? It is mother of this family - Sheba. She lived in Chicago Lincoln Park Zoo with daughter Mali where I first met her. She is unusually smart for tiger that grow up in captivity, mischievous, unpredictable and rare mother. She gave me not only great "Kodak" moment, but also a lot of joy in my own bad times. Sheba left for Detroit in February 2003. Though reason was good (to make cubs), it still was really sad, since I became very attached to her. I had a chance to pass thru Detroit in December 2002 and meet Bransk, our future “groom” at that time. I had interesting conversation with zoo keeper than. |
